How you set that up will depend on what you want out of it since you can use Plex, Emby, MySQL, etc to set that up. I think of Plex kind of as the Apple version of software. It'll make it easy to get up and going, but you have to do things the way it wants to do things. There is no plex to real world money transfer route.
