Dec 05, 2016 · Just an FYI, but the last legacy release of Asus Merlin (380.70), released on 2018-April-08, is the last version to support the RT-AC66U, per the release notes. Only the new generation branch is being developed now, and the AC66U was dropped.

The RT-N66U and RT-N66W are the same except U has a black case and W has a white case. The RT-N66R is the same as the RT-N66U. It is simply a repackage for retail sale. Please notice that due to Broadcom BCM47xx driver limitations wireless support is sketchy.

Modem1 is on WAN, and modem2 is on LAN1. Both DSL lines work great independently in either the WAN port or LAN1, but when I enable dual WAN, pages fail to load 90% of the time and I can't fathom why.
