Hi there. My home's wireless router is one floor down from my computer, so my wireless Internet connection is pretty bad. So, I found an extra Ethernet cable and plugged it into the wall connection - yes, it does go through to my router and modem. I am running Windows Vista. When I go 'Connect to a network', the LAN connection does not show up.

Origin is connected to the internet, but Sims 4 isn't. Everytime I start my game up from Origin it works, but everytime I go to the sims 4 gallery everything is marked with a red X and says this item cannot be located. Everytime I attempt to connect to the Internet it says no connection found but I'm positive there is one since origin is connected.

We’re talking here mostly about streaming media players ( Chromecast , Roku), gaming consoles ( Nintendo , Xbox , Playstation ) and e-readers (Kindle, etc.). Ive been trying to give my ps4 internet using my pdanet app on my phone and laptop by trying to bridge connections but I cant find a good enough tutorial out there I managed to connect a lan cable from my laptop to ps4 and obtaining the up address is successful but it fails when trying to connect to the internet I need help!!!

So for reasons I don't have the internet in my apartment for a week or so and am using my neighbours wifi across the hall.
